Being open-minded will bring you all the ideas you want. It's good to keep a notebook with you at all times to write down those ideas, because that is what will allow you to keep track of the brilliant moments that could mean a future multi-million dollar success.
Ideas come whether you expect them or not. They especially like to come when you're about to fall asleep or about to wake up, in what is often referred to as the "trance state".
How often have you been in that state and thought, "I can remember that idea. That one's a no-brainer. There's no way I'll forget that!" And then you wake up, and what happened? You forgot the idea.
If you keep a notebook beside your bed, you can jot down those ideas when they come to you, and keep track of them for future reference. Then allow your subconscious to continue working on them while you sleep.
Just try to write legibly, or you'll have no idea what you wrote when you do look at your notebook.
Also keep a notebook, or preferably a voice recorder, in your car. Don't write or record while driving, of course -- but at the next red light, or when you're stuck in stop-and-go traffic, make creative use of your time by recording the ideas that come to you!
And how about on your desk? You need a place to jot down those ideas that are going to help you break out of the rat race, lose the J.O.B. and start making a real income on your own, if that's what you dream of doing. After all, they say once you find the work you love, you'll never work another day in your life again. You'll work, but it won't feel like work because you'll love it.
Now once you have these brilliant ideas jotted down or recorded, you can't stop there. Now it's time to take action, or that great idea will just go to the next person who will.
Have you ever had an idea you thought would make a million dollars, but didn't take action on it... and then someone else came out with the exact same thing and DID make a million on it? That's why you need to take action.
Figure out what resources you need to make it work. If you don't have those resources, how can you get them? If you can't get them yourself, who do you know or who can you find that will share them for a piece of the action?
Not every idea is worth acting on, of course. But you'll know by looking over your list of notes which ones are going to be the ones for you to do, then bring the process full circle by taking inspired action on your brilliant ideas, and making them pay off as they should.
